Our Mission

The major function of Rolling Thunder®, Inc. is to publicize the POW-MIA issue: To educate the public that many American Prisoners of War were left behind after all previous wars and to help correct the past and to protect future Veterans from being left behind should they become Prisoners of War / Missing in Action. We are also committed to helping American Veterans from all wars.

About Us

Rolling Thunder®, Indiana Chapter 6 is a class 501(c) (4) non-profit organization
open to anyone with an interest in educating the public regarding the POW/MIA
issue and helping Veterans.

We rely solely on volunteers to successfully meet our mission. If you can give of
your time, attend meetings and events, we will be please to consider your
application for membership. Our meetings are open, non-members and visitors
are always welcome to attend.

We are NOT a motorcycle club, you DO NOT have to ride or own a motorcycle,
NOR do you have to be a Veteran to be a member. If you want to help Veterans
and you believe in the cause for which we stand, as written in our Mission
Statement, you are welcome.

Meetings are on the 1st Saturday of every month (subject to change). We alternate
each month to work around our members’ schedules. Meeting times are 9:00 am
and 6:00 pm at the Fraternal Order of Eagles 1824 W Franklin St Evansville, IN
47712. The meeting room is at the back of the building, there is an entrance
through the back door.
